This is the place where I feel the most comfortable, the most 'at home'. In the mountains of the Rocky Mountain West. These pictures are of various places around Colorado and Wyoming, covering several camping trips over several years.

Puerto Rico

One of the most fascinating places I have ever visited was the Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico. The rain forest, called "El Junque", was full of sights, sounds and smells that were very relaxing. The Waterfall is called "Angels Veil" and does seem serene. There is a tiny frog that lives on the Island that is about the size of a baby's thumb. These frogs are called "Coque"(pronounced ko-kwee, for that is the sound they make). They are the loudest frogs I have ever heard!
