Karin Spottiswoode is a registered field guide and specializes in tours of the West Rand nature reserves. Her home base is Kloofendal but she is equally at home in places like the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens.

Karin can also be contacted by those who are interested in the historical site of Confidence Reef. This is the site of the first commercial gold exploitation that eventually lead to the large scale mining on the reef.
