The longer of the two trails is
15km and requires a fair degree of fitness. An alternative shorter route
will soon be available. The route takes the hiker on an ascent of about
600m. It first of all traverses mountain grassland and then follows a
path through indigenous bush along the bottom of a krans and then
ascends briefly to the mountain summit. You then descend back to base
again. The trail takes about 8 hours to complete. |
