Diepdrift Hiking Trails

Diepdrift is a game farm situated close to the Limpopo Province town of Warmbaths (Bela Bela). It is well stocked with wildlife which includes Sable Antelope, Hippo and Giraffe. The farm caters for a wide variety of difference uses including Hiking, Hunting, Team Building, Conferences, 4x4 and weekend getaways in well equipped, comfortable, purpose built cottages. The hiking trails are designed to  be suitable for those casual hikers who want a afternoon strolls to the seasoned hikers who would like to do a two day backpack trail.

		Among the attractions of hiking at Diepdrift is the unusual erosion features. Erosion is usually not a pretty site and not something to visit on a trail but this must be an exception.

The wildlife on the reserve is plentiful and easily seen. Among game species are Giraffe, Waterbuck, Zebra, Eland, Kudu, Sable Antelope, Wildebeest and Hippo.

Conclusion

Diepdrift offers the hiker a rare chance of hiking, unguided, in a well-stocked game reserve. There are trails to suite everyone and a visit to Diepdrift is a rewarding experience.
