Merrimetsi Lodge is a beautiful old sandstone house built in 1891. Here, under the manificent backdrop of the Korannaberg mountains with an outlook over unspoilt natural suroundings, the mind and body can recover from the life spent in the hustle and bustle of the big city. Take a book along and relax or do one of the hiking trails on the conservancy. There are also guided 4 x 4 and quad bike trails for those who like to put their skills to the test.

         
 

The sitting room (lounge) enhances the feeling of old time splendour as you sit in deep armchairs or sofa with the large old world fireplace and grate that provides warmth and a lazy glow on a cold winter night. This is an ideal place to relax with a good book, far away from the television screen.
